Info overload. In the spoiler below is a picture of the new alternate forms of Tornadus, Thunderus and Landerus. Top right. Spoiler: click to toggle Cheren is now a Normal-type Gym Leader, replacing Lenora and giving out the Basic Badge. He is the first Gym Leader while Homika, the Poison-type Gym Leader with the guitar, is the second. Bianca gives you your Starter Pokemon on behalf of Professor Juniper. She is now Juniper’s assistant. N has disappeared and nobody knows where he is, including Team Plasma. Team Plasma and the Sages will still be in the game, though in what capacity we do not know yet. Alder appears at the beginning of the game and asks you to come with him. PokeWood (Pokemon+Hollywood) will apparently involve filming a movie: you pick a scenario, then fight in several Pokemon battles. Perhaps battling against the mecha Tyranitar is how you film part of your movie. Brycen, the Ice-type Gym Leader, has starred in PokeWood movies before. PokeWood will also be featured in the anime on June 7th – we see a screenshot of the mecha Tyranitar battling a Golurk. I bet this will be Luke’s evolved Golett since we’ve seen him making movies in various episodes of the show. Guess they were foreshadowing this for a while without us knowing! The old designs of the Cloud Trio will now be referred to as their “Incarnation Formes” while the new designs will be called their “Sacred Beast Formes.” All three of the Pokemon keep their same types in their new formes, but their stats are different. Tornadus’ new forme focuses on Defense, Special Defense, and Speed, Thundurus’ focuses on Special Attack, and Landorus’ focuses on Attack. As stated yesterday, the “World Tournament” feature allows you to battle past Gym Leaders and Elite Four Champions. So far, Cynthia, Green (Gary), Brock, Misty, Lt. Surge, Erika, Janine, Blaine, Giovanni, Volkner, Steven Stone, and Lance are confirmed participants. Edited by Lord Cooler, May 12 2012, 09:43 AM.

Is world tournament just in game or does it have to connect do you know? It sounds awesome but for those like me that can't use the online functions it's unfair. Cynthia and Gary battles ftw. I like how with B/W they actually made it have a decent plot, not the best but it was a welcome change. Seems like the plot will b very different in this one, maybe the people who make these games are learning... Custom trainers! C'mon give us that! It's such a basic idea but it would be great. Imagine being able to get...a dudes hat forgot his name...you know the Lucario trainer guy has a hat with a feather in it, how cool would that be... |

:O Info overload indeed. I for some reason really want the main characters of the first B/W to have major roles, perhaps have the male trainer trying to find N(The male trainer being the canon trainer who used Reshiram/Zekrom against N.) And the female trainer be the elite 4 champion or something like that. Cheren being a gym leader was something I figured would happen, but this world tournament thing makes me realise IDGAF. November/december isent coming fast enough. It also appears Dawn and Cynthia are coming back in the anime, I prefered Cynthia's old black attire but this new white dress is alright too. Cool. I like the old trainers and bringing them back, I still remember fighting Red in Mt. Silver and seeing Green/Blue again. Cool stuff. I'm finding myself actually wanting this game a lot.... |

any body play competitively i mean story wise i get a pokemon dnt care what nature then play through no breeding once i beat el4 i play competitively i breed , choose natures , put ivs and evs appropriately wondering if anybody else does as for this gen fail pokemon wise anyways the story gameplay is cool but a lot of pokemons are uber fails only a select few are cool and usable |

I stopped playing Pokemon when D/P came out. So im not in the loop, but I think its a huge mistake for them not to release this on the 3DS. It would be the biggest game for it. |
